Quaker Knoll
8o years and going strong- non-profit fostering community engagement and outdoor experiences
Quaker Knoll
Quaker Knoll came to me with a classic non-profit identity crisis. They had amazing outdoor properties and community programming but zero visual backbone to show for it.
Brand Photography
To give their brand some visual credibility, I executed a comprehensive photography strategy that captures the real magic happening at their properties. My team styled and conducted brand photography sessions focusing on their outdoor activities, community events, and natural surroundings. Every image was edited to maintain a consistent aesthetic that makes people want to get outside and get involved. Not just scroll past another nature post.
Art and Creative Direction
I started by diving deep into their operational chaos and diagnosing exactly what their brand personality needed to be. The prescription? A visual identity that embodies community spirit and outdoor adventure without looking like every other nature non-profit. I crafted a fun, approachable brand identity with multiple logo color options that change with the seasons. Because if you’re connected to nature, your brand should breathe with it too.
WordPress Website Design and Development
I designed a streamlined workflow that actually works for a busy non-profit. The user-friendly WordPress site serves as their central command center for information, bookings, newsletters, and lead collection. Now Quaker Knoll can engage with their community meaningfully while managing multiple properties and programming offerings efficiently. Clients can book services without needing hand-holding, optimizing everyone’s time and sanity.
Conclusion
This project proved that non-profits don’t have to choose between heart and efficiency. When your brand identity works as hard as your mission, magic happens – and more people get outside to experience it.
